Heat Stroke in Pets

 Pet Parents: Heat Stroke Alert!

As temps rise, so does the risk of heat stroke in our furry friends. If your dog seems overheated—heavy panting, lethargy, vomiting, or collapsing—act fast, but don't dunk them in cold water! Sudden temperature drops can send them into shock.

Instead, here’s a safe and effective tip:

Apply rubbing alcohol to their paw pads – it helps lower body temperature safely.

Move them to a cool, shaded area, offer small sips of water, and get to a vet ASAP.

Stay safe out there – our pets depend on us!  #PetSafety #HeatStrokeAwareness #SummerPetTips
